NASSC - Anyone doing Sand Soccer thiis weekend?

I cringe every year for this, but my son likes doing it, so we do it. Sand soccer starts tomorrow. We think we're good and then some team from Miami will probably kick our ass. Good fun though.

Yes, we went to Virginia Beach for the sand soccer. So much different that the grass game. Very physical and not many rules. It's kind of like futsal, but the sand is very unforgiving. Some teams would tell their kids to shoot low, because the sand makes for incredibly bad bounces for the keeper to handle. It was a great atmosphere though. Everyone looked to be in good spirits.
