Any DMV recommendations for mobile paintless auto body/dent repair? TIA.

Most of them are scams so don't use them unless you have a very small patch. The paint never matches and most of their work is pretty shoddy. I got burned once so never again.

For my old beater it was worth paying someone $300 for fair, quick (1 hour), job compared to paying a shop $2,000 for like-new. I got a phone number of a guy who works out his car in Bowie.

I am a new poster. Can you recommend any that are legit, and offer a good price? I want to repair something but can't justify spending too much based on the age of the car. I'd consider well-peiced shops too

The problem, I've found, is that the legitimate shops want to restore the body to "like new" and charge accordingly. I'd be fine paying a legitimate shop less to do a half-assed good-enough job for 1/3 to 1/2 the price, but they seem just not set up to do that. So I go with shadier one-man entrepreneurs, cross my fingers, hope for the best, and so far have had no problems. But there is a risk.
