When did you add snacks? We do breakfast, lunch and dinner but I wonder if I should do snacks in between? Baby is 9mo and breastfeeds 6x/day.
I didn't start regularly doing snacks until closer to 12 months. Before that, I just did snacks when we were out and about, because it was easier to give them a sippy with some crackers on their little stroller tray, than to park it and nurse. I would look at the recommended feeding charts and see where you might be missing some servings during regular mealtime, and try offering something like fruit, yogurt, or peanut butter on a cracker in between meals.
Six times a day of nursing at 9 months feels like a lot to me. By the time we were really ramping up solids, we were down to four bottles a day. So we already had four standard "meals" of bottles during the day - 8am breakfast, noon lunch, 4:30pm snack, 7pm dinner. I think by the time we were at 9 months, he was eating solids after all of those bottles, and he's had those same meal and snack times ever since (he's 16 months old now) though after a year we slowly moved from bottles to a sippy of milk with the solids.

I found this sample menu from the American Academy of Pediatrics helpful: https://www.healthychildren.org/english/ages-stages/baby/feeding-nutrition/pages/sample-one-day-menu-for-an-8-to-12-month-old.aspx
