Nespresso machine - recommendations

I'd like to get one of the Nespressos (not the fancy cappuccino ones that are $500 - more the $150-$200 range). Looking at the Virtuo line - does anyone have recommendations between the VirtuoNext and VirtuoPlus? It's hard to find a comparison of the different options online.

What are you looking to do with it? I know you didn’t mention, but Originaline and Verturo ones do different things, and use a different pod. Your selection of coffees will differ depending on which line you get.

I actually like the Nespresso Essensa or the Essensa Mini although I think the mini does not fit a full cup of coffee. The Essensa you can buy on Amazon or Nespresso boutiques they will honor the price.

I have a few Nespresso machines(we love coffee) I am very happy with the $150 -$250 price points. Although I 100% love the Creatisa Breville which is amazing but price point is very high.

Coffee; maybe an espresso now and then.

The Nespresso Vertuo makes TERRIBLE coffee. So bitter with this gross fake crema. I wouldn't recommend a Nespresso if most of what you drink is coffee and not espresso.

Reopening this thread. Looking to buy dear hubby a Nespresso machine for Xmas. Likes strong coffee and wants to be able to make a single cup in the afternoon. I hate Keurigs so much I refuse to buy one and I think he prefers the Nespresso line anyway. After 30 minutes of research on line I still can’t figure out the different models. I get that the Vertuo line has different pods but why? What is the difference in taste? Budget is under 200. Thanks!

The simple, classic Nespressos are the best. Ignore the Vertuo and other stuff. Plain Nespresso is the deal.

Vertuo has larger brew sizes - think 8 oz and up, like a regular cup of coffee. It also has the espresso size.

Original has single and double espresso sizes only.
