Why people have truck nuts or the sticker of Calvin (from Calvin and Hobbes cartoon) peeing? I do not understand the meaning nor the allure. Thank you.

For the same reason people have coexist or Trump2020 or a silhouette of a curvy naked woman: they're really into [whatever] and they want everyone to know. The truck balls guy probably thinks it's hilarious. The coexist person wants everyone to know they're cool with her. Do these things bother you? The most offensive bumper sticker I ever saw read, "mean people suck".... I wanted to smash that b's car!

I never understood it. I dated a guy in undergrad who would hole up in the br or kill weekends by giggling and chortling at Calvin and Hobbes. I never found it funny (not a big cartoon person) and though he was great/sweet in many ways I just didn't think this would mature any better so I dumped him. Yes, I did us both a favour.

The Calvin peeing is unlicensed. Bill Watterson, the comic, did not support or sell rights to his intellectual property. It was stolen from him.

I've seen some really disgusting Calvins peeing on: Obama, Hillary, liberals, treehuggers, hippies...however, if he was peeing on racists, I might laugh.

I'm a woman, so I got a little silhouette of a bearded fat man in a trucker hat, posed like the mudflap girl. When I sold my truck, the buyer loved it, because he said it looked like him!

Because it’s funny. Added benefit is that it annoys some types of people. It’s really no more complicated than that.

And I think truck nuts are hilarious.
