Sligo Creek Elementary

I am looking for any feedback on Sligo Creek Elementary School. We are thinking of buying in that area and would love to hear parents' thoughts about the school. I noticed that some of the test scores were not quite as strong as I'd hoped. But I have also heard great things about the French immersion program. My impression is that there is no guarantee of getting in to the immersion program, even if you live in the cachement area for the school, and that you still have to apply through the transfer program. Any thoughts on the school generally (the Academy program) or on the immersion program, and odds of getting in, would be very appreciated. Thanks a lot.
