What is format for All-star tournament this year?

The FPYC tournament? It’s 7 v 7 for U10 (3rd and 4th grade) and 9 v 9 for U12.

| Why discuss age groups based on what grade you are in? Use birth year of your kid of what age group. U-whatever. |

Most rec teams go by grade, not birth year. |

Well the tournament is based on birth year. You can't have a 11 year old 4th graders from one club play against 9 year old 4th graders from another club. |

That makes little too no sense what if you have mostly 9 year old but a few 11 year olds that dominate birth year keeps it as fair as can be. |

| If there are rec teams that go by grade and they enter this tournament, wait til you hear the whining that their kid who they red shirted 2 years can't play with his classmates even though he's two years older because he wants to play with friends. I can't wait to hear that complaining. |
