Your four-year old's favorite things?

Does your four-year old have a favorite toy? Looking for birthday gift ideas.

Duplo blocks. He's fine playing with the regular Legos but I don't trust our DD2 around them so they both play with the larger ones.

He also has a giant Crayola art kit with markers, crayons, colored pencils, pastels, and watercolor paint. He uses that almost every day.

my youngest just turned 4, and i can tell you that his absolute favorite gift that he got was the elmer's slime kit. he also loves a marble run set, but he needs me to help build it. Of the other gifts he got, I can hardly think of one that he's still playing with a month later the way he still asks daily to do the slime.

Regular Legos in a little handled carrying case.

He also likes Magnatiles.

Cicadas.

But I don't recommend wrapping those up.

Honestly age 4 is pretty easy to please. My kid would be amazed if you wrapped up almost any toy for him.

Marvel PJs from the Disney store online, silk swords from Sarah's Silks, old Brio train set, art supplies (he likes to find pictures of things he wants and then we draw them on stiff colored paper and cut them out - voilà, instatoys! We have every Marvel superhero in paper form), scooter.

Magnatiles and craft supplies.

Oh and a big cardboard box the size of a fridge. That was the biggest hit of his young life.

My oldest’s favorites at that age were schleich animal figures, art supplies, toy trucks.
My 2nd child who is 4 now loves stuffed animals, dolls of any type, stickers, play food. Actually, as pp said, my kids at age 4 would’ve loved just about any toy they got. It’s an easy age to please in my experience. They also both love LEGOs and magnatiles, puzzles, books, play dough, kinetic sand. So many options.

Haha my 4 year old loves cicadas too. She hunts them every day after school.

For non-living things, she's pretty into magnatiles and crayons. And play food for the play kitchen. Also, dinosaur figurines.
