And how was it finding a doctor that agreed to do the transfer of embryos from another clinic? That’s the dilemma.. finding a doctor that will agree to do this.
In that regard we were in a unique situation. The embryos were created in NYC at Cornell, but we moved them to Fairfax Cryobank because we already had donor sperm there and the storage fee was a flat rate for sperm and embryos and significantly less. We also thought we might use the remainder of them at Shady Grove, until we found out SG didn't want to use our outside embryos. We wound up transporting them back to Cornell where they remain.
I know some places would be open to transferring embryos from another office, but I feel like the quality/age of the embryos might play a part. Good luck!
