Homepage is 1.3MB

Not sure if you're aware, but the homepage is over 1.3MB, including images. There are two javascript files (here and here) that eat up ~400k and three Flickr images that are another ~400k. I ran the homepage through http://www.websiteoptimization.com/services/analyze/ because it was taking a while to load. Just an FYI.

Thanks. I upgraded the cms this weekend and I'm not finished debugging it. I turned off those two javascripts because they are probably not needed now. It was really only one of them that was large, but I don't thing either is required at the moment.
