Gift cards for teachers?

It's the last week of preschool and this is our first year. We'd like to get gift cards for our son's teachers - his room has three. What is a good amount? And should we do a generic visa card, or a specific vendor like amazon or starbucks?

Preschool teacher here - visa gift cards are generally preferred, but feel free to get personal if you know that teacher will use it (ie you see them with Starbucks every morning or there’s a clothing brand you’ve talked about).

We usually do $50 each, either Visa or Amazon gift card.
