Vehicle that seats 7 or 8 and accommodates an elderly person

Anonymous
I'm looking for a vehicle that seats 7, or ideally 8, that has a lower entry that's comfortable for an elderly person to get into and out of.

The kids I transport range from 0 to 14, and so I need it to fit 2 boosters and a carseat, but also since we tend to keep our cars for ever, lots of tall people!

Any minivan would work.

OP here, I don't think most minivans fit 8. Or is that an option on all models?

A limo - 8, really?

15 passenger van? But seriously this is a job for two vehicles.

Oddseys are 2 3 3, but the back rows aren’t comfortable with 3

I'm not sure why this so horrifying. I'm a teacher. I have summers off. I like to take my kids, their cousins, and a grandparent who no longer drives to things like the zoo.

I would agree about a minivan, since they are lower profile

My new Sienna is 2-3-3, that’d work!

It’s not horrifying it’s just extremely rare.

Really? Driving kids around in the summer is extremely rare? Or bringing a grandparent or other adult who doesn’t do well with stepping up into an SUV?

I know they. I am asking which minivans actually fit three across with teens or car seats.

I would get one of the 8 seater mini vans. I'd put driver and grandparent in front seats, the 2 boosters and carseat in middle 3 (and I'd be willing to buy new ones if current ones didn't fit well) and put teens in the back.

It might be tight in the back, but they are teens and will survive!
