Seriously. It really kills me that Dorit tries so hard to act like she is from an upper crust background when she is oh-so-very-obviously NOT. She is clearly from a very middle class family which is not a bad thing but she is certainly showing by her actions that she is ashamed of her upbringing.. Its really pathetic how she behaves and treats others. Her "manners" are atrocious. Absolutely atrrocious. I really ho9pe this is pointed out to her in the end of the season talk shows. Someone needs to set her straight.

Dorit is coming off like season 1 Camille to me. A complete lack of self-awareness and laugh out loud delusional statements. Very unlikable.

Then again, there'd be no show without her this season.

I agree - I think Dorit is smart enough to know how to 'play the reality game', she knows what Bravo wants for her to stay relevant. All of those one liners like between the "ranger rover and rolls royce", or the extravagant car shopping / party are just playing into it. I think a lot of it just an act.

I agree - I think Dorit is smart enough to know how to 'play the reality game', she knows what Bravo wants for her to stay relevant. I think a lot of it is, but some of it is ... how did she put this ... "induced." The drunken behavior at the dark dinner party, where even her boor of a husband looked embarrassed, and the kind of manic affect she had at the facial party were not strategically playing the reality game to my eye. They were a lady with impulse control issues and lowered inhibitions.

The camielle comparison is spot on. I also think Dorit needs to work. Kyle, Lisa V, Lisa R all work…and often! And Erica has her thing too. Teddi has small kids (that she raises) and then there is Dorit just playing barbie dream house. To me its kinda boring. We will see where this swimsuit line goes.

Dorit came off as such a bitch last night but it actually felt forced. She was trying so hard to keep the argument going, and it didn’t work out well for her with Teddi trying to squash it the entire time. It made Dorit look like the psycho. Another thing that annoys me about Dorit is that every time she enters a room she waits for compliments on how great she looks.

Lisa is an instigator. She knew damn well Dorit made the glass comment so she ran to her and told her “accidentally” and acted like she had no idea it was her. Please! And then as soon as she gets the reaction she wants she backs off and acts so innocent. “Oh no, don’t start an argument, that’s not what I wanted”. We see right through you Lisa. She did the same thing at the party, she stood up for Dorit and ganged up on Teddi over a stupid glass and then tried to act like she wasn’t putting her down.

Dorit works. She has to manage all her household staff. She has to listen to one of the nannies tell her how her son's speech therapy went. She is trying to re-birth her swimsuit line, which she is SO busy with that it caused her to be ONLY SIX minutes late for Teddi.

I wasn't sure if these had been posted, but Dorit's home is for sale (I'm sure because they can't afford it, though the reason given is she wants less vertical living).

Now, from the aerial shots the home always seemed like a mcmansion to me, but looking at it here, it really is. No yard, steep drive, crappy elevation so you have to walk up tall deathtrap stairs to even get to the front door. It is a fright.

Did anyone else think when she was unboxing her Hermes settings earlier in the season "this is SO for the cameras and is SO getting returned to the store tomorrow".

I think Dorit is playing it up for the cameras BUT is also deeply insecure about her lack of wealth compared to Lisa VP and Kyle etc. I mean honestly I think Harry and Lisa have way more money than DCUM gives them credit for too. QVC alone is $$$. Plus Lisa R will do anything for a check…she is very open about that. But Erica, Vanderpump, and Kyle all have serious serious wealth. Dorit wants so desperately to be that wealthy. I really admire Lisa Rinna's work ethic, and her down-to-earth attitude. She doesn't ever give off the vibe that she's too good for someone or something, and she seems like she can easily fit in anywhere. I hope I can raise my kids to be the same way.

I think the show has unfortunately made her appear to be at times wishy washy, disingenuous and a pushover, but I bet before the how she wasn't any of those things. It is probably really hard to not let the show and contrived situations get in your heard.

THANK YOU. I thought I was the only one here who recognized how hard dorit works and her work ethic. She's a great role model for all of us. I don't know how she juggled so many time consuming things with having a family
