He did. He went to AA and stopped drinking. But that wasn’t good enough for the woman who has been addicted to every drug ever produced. She still wouldn’t let him be in his children’s lives. I think she is evil. But Brad deserved it for how he treated Jennifer who is a good woman.

No, the problem wasn't whether he was flexible or rigid. They problem was that Angie would say No to anything and everything and doesn't care about custody agreements or court rules or anything but what she wants.

Saying what? He has tried to connect with Shiloh - this article says he built a skate park and an art studio in his house for her. Shiloh and the rest of the kids live with a mom who has been bad mouthing him to them 24/7, so his attempts to connect with his children haven’t worked. It’s a really sad situation.

+1 As far as we know Pax might keep in touch with one or more cousins, but there is no evidence of the rest of the kids keeping in touch with the Pitts, including the grandparents.

The reality is no-one knows what Pitt and Jolie are like as parents behind closed doors. This thread is full of gossip and hearsay derived from bottom-feeder tabloids, with little hard evidence. Clearly the kids love their mom and are distant, if not fully estranged from their dad. We know from legal documents that he only has visitation with the twins at this point, and that the girl twin publicly dropped his surname too. No-one knows what's up with Knox. I maintain that if he had made a generous financial settlement with Jolie from the very beginning, and agreed to her individualized parenting plans, things might not have deteriorated to this extent. But we'll never know now. It's been a toxic stew of mutual retaliation for some time. Hope the kids are not too damaged by it all, but that is not the way to bet. May there be healing for them as they move forward with their own adult lives.

Because he seems to want to be a father, but his ex-wife has alienated him from all of his children. I’m sure he’s deeply hurt by her campaign of alienation against him. He’s a simple man from a traditional family. I think he wants that life for himself. He seems to have found a normal woman he can build a stable family with. Angelina was toxic and is not mother material.

She seems to be a great mother from all outward appearances. Her children give her accolades and respect. They have not embarrassed her, gotten in drug, abused drugs, etc. they appear healthy and happy. Not even the oldest ones have distanced themselves from her. She remained in contact with Brad’s family so that the children could have a relationship with the cousins and grandparents. Wheat exactly makes her a bad parent, and before you say alienation from Brad, I call horseshit. As one poster mentioned upstream, Brad has never attended an event for any of his children. Nothing stopped him from attending graduations, birthday parties etc. Heck, during his court allowed visitations he could have given the kids a second birthday, as sometimes happens with children of divorced parents. Nothing. He reminds me of the men who want children as a trophy, but don’t want to put in the work to be a father.

A good mother would form a healthy co-parenting relationship with the father of her children for those children’s sake. She wouldn’t fight in court to keep a father from his children. She is a terrible mother who has alienated her children from their father. She is repeating the same behaviors her mother did after her divorce and has similarly created a dysfunctional and broken family.

Women like you are despicable. Always trying to make the man more important than the children. A good mother would not encourage their children to form a relationship with an abusive father. It’s impossible to have a healthy relationship with an abusive parent. If Brad wanted to make things right with his children he had ample opportunity before and after the abuse allegations. He failed. How is it that one or more of the Jolie-Pitt children have relations with Brad’s parents and nieces but not Brad himself. Answer, because Brad chose not to have relationship with his own children. Make that make sense. A person does not cultivate and nurture relationships with the in-laws while encouraging the children to stay away from dad.

NP - Looked this up out of curiosity and I read the opposite: They do not see Pitt's parents, haven't in many years. Unless you have other info...

They go to his house when his family is over or vice versa.

Saying what? He has tried to connect with Shiloh - this article says he built a skate park and an art studio in his house for her. He did. He went to AA and stopped drinking. But that wasn’t good enough for the woman who has been addicted to every drug ever produced. She still wouldn’t let him be in his children’s lives. I think she is evil. But Brad deserved it for how he treated Jennifer who is a good woman.

No, the problem wasn't whether he was flexible or rigid. They problem was that Angie would say No to anything and everything and doesn't care about custody agreements or court rules or anything but what she wants.

Yup. The minute a court decision goes against her, she lashes out. She sold the winery to the Russian oligarch. She rehashes and embellishes her abuse allegations. It’s the same pattern with her. She never let him have a say in those children’s upbringings even when they were married. It’s her way or the highway. She doesn’t know the meaning of the word compromise.
