Insurrection Hearings 6/28 and beyond

This is what's going to happen:

Scenario 1: no charges are brought against Trump. This makes the Ds look weak and hysterical for this endless hearing. Biden loses 2024.

Scenario 2: charges are brought but fail to stick and are dismissed. Again, weak, hysterical, lose.

Scenario 3: charges are brought and a protracted trial begins against Trump. Trump is unable to run. DeSantis, who is not a Trump supporter, wins.

Scenario 4: charged and quickly convicted. Base moves on and votes for DeSantis.

Biden would have benefitted from a divided GOP. He can definitely beat Trump because he already did. But he probably cant beat DeSantis. This entire thing is poor political strategy.

Oh wow you got me. You can clearly see from your basement what I’m doing to campaign. The financiers of the insurrection are going to be revealed by DOJ. We really don’t need your advice. I’m on the side that doesn’t cheat elections. If you are guilty, you should find an honest lawyer and not rely on the one the GOP offers.

Trump tried to use a violent mob to overthrow our government. Bringing forth evidence of that effort is sufficient reason for this committee’s work, whatever the political outcome. God bless Liz Cheney and her strong work on this. I hate her right wing politics, but credit where it’s due.
