We're out-of-town applicants who will be moving to Chevy Chase, Bethesda, or Potomac soon. Our son was accepted to St Francis and WES. My husband prefers WES because he thinks that the academics there are stronger.
But given the recently announced merger between St Francis and St Andrews, would that school give us as good a chance to be admitted to Landon or St Albans in a few years? (This is assuming that we decided against just feeding into the upper school at St Andrews?) During our visit to St Francis, I noticed a gender imbalance in the older classrooms. It seems that the merger might help with this, but it would be great to hear from others. Thanks for the advice. |
