Favorite netting for vegetable garden

Could you recommend your favorite netting for vegetable garden? I have the AG fabric netting and wondering whether the veggies will get enough sun with it. Thanks!

It depends on what you are trying to keep out.

DP but similar question. Mainly trying to keep birds out. Bonus points if it doesn't get too tanged- the one I bought a couple years ago is pretty flimsy and gets tangled and twisted easily.

Bird netting is kind of a pain, the flimsy kind is the only kind I know of. Use zip ties to attach it to a frame made of PVC or wood or something.

Otherwise you could use chicken wire.

I'm sure squirrels could chew through bird netting.

Has anyone used zippers or velcro as an easier way to get IN to the netting after you've set it up over a garden? I want to cover my tomatoes this year (stupid starlings) but need to figure out how to actually pick the tomatoes while keeping the enclosure secure.

PP again- something like this, although this is out of stock and I can't find something similar!

Just have the net overlap like curtains. Pull back to get to tomatoes. It works fine.
