GW glucose test

What is GW’s upper limit for passing the 1 hour glucose test? And if you failed, how soon did you have to return for the 3-hour test?
Has anyone on here barely failed the 1 hour glucose test and then also failed the 3-hour test?

I saw my results (137) but am waiting for my dr to reach out.

I barely failed the 1 hour and then failed the 3 hour and had GD. If you have it, don't worry! It is manageable, even if you need insulin. The diet is sort of a bummer but you will be super healthy and I felt great I think partly because of it. If you need insulin, you just need insulin and the good thing is it is safe and it works.

Do you mind me asking how much you failed the 1-hr by? I was thinking that because I barely failed the 1-hr I would NOT actually have gestational diabetes. I really don’t want to deal with all of this. It’s good to hear that management wasn’t too bad though

It’s 140.
You passed.

Not a GW patient, but i wanted to second what a PP said about not worrying about the results. If you fail the 3 hr test, but not by too much, you will be put on a diabetes diet, which is actually healthy. I failed the 1 hour test, narrowly passed the 3 hour test, and voluntarily chose to follow a diabetic friendly diet (no refined carbs like pasta, and counted grams of added sugar in foods) because I wanted to eat healthy the rest of my pregnancy.
