ParkMobile stickers scraped off meters

Trying to use the ParkMobile app in DC today after a long time. Around 17th & Penn all the zone stickers are scraped off. I’ve seen this around Dupont Circle too. Has anyone else encountered this? Does anybody know what’s going on and why the stickers aren’t maintained. ParkMobile “customer service” could care less, despite the absence of stickers making the app useless.

Weird, I just used ParkMobile a few weeks ago while getting my haircut in downtown DC.
I'm guessing some of the stickers may have been outdated and it was causing confusion when looking at the app to select the parking zone. The map in the app should be the right zone, since that is what's connected to the meter maids' handheld system. |

NP. What's replacing it? I live in the burbs but pre-pandemic went into DC often and used Parkmobile. What should I expect when I'm heading downtown now? I can't imagine they've gone back to old-school meters.... Thanks. |
