Verbal offers

Anyone have experience with verbal offers that didn’t come through? Son has a written offer from one club and verbal from another (preferred) club. Thanks!

Even though it actually is an official offer (verbally), it's best to have the emailed one.

We have had verbal offers rescinded when a better player pops up at the last minute. Much like a job, I have told my son not to accept to reject without an offer in hand.

If I was going to trust a coach to train my child, I would have to trust in them following up on a verbal offer.
