Medication Dosages for Lupron Stop Protocol

Has anyone doen the Lupron Stop Protocol at Shady Grove?
How much Follistim(orGonal F) and Menopur did you take each day? Did it end up getting changed during the cycle?

If you know what protocol you're doing, your nurse should tell you what dosages you'll get to start out. Your dose will depend on your diagnosis - a poor responder or high fsh'er might do 450 total per day, a younger woman doing IVF for male factor might do 250. It could get changed depending on how you respond.

op here - I did get my doses from my nurse. I haven't taken Menopur before, so I wasn't sure what type of dose people tend to get.
The plan for me is Follistion 300iu and Menopur 150iu. The Menopur dose was higher than I expected.

I did 450 Follistim and 150 Menopur on Lupron stop. Good luck!!!!

I did Bravelle and Menopur on a Lupron Stop protocol for my second IVF cycle. I am early 30s and our issue is male factor. I had been a bit of a slow responder in my first cycle and was a little over-supressed, so think I started out around 200 Bravelle and 75 Menopur. I ended up pretty high by the end of my stims phase (which was about 10-12 days) - about 450 Bravelle and 75-100 Menopur. The dosage increased several times during the stims phase, and it depends on a number of factors - e.g., how you've responded in past cycles (if any), how your follicles and b/w look that morning, and how long you've been stimming. Your nurse will call you in the afternoon with dosage instructions after you go in for b/w and u/s. BTW, I ended up with about 28 mature eggs from that cycle and it worked. My one piece of advice for the end of your stims phase is to drink lots of Gatorade G2 (it helps with the bloating). Good luck!!!
