dishwasher help! i put regular dishsoap in the dishwasher by accident, now what? it is all bubbly

oops....now i can't get the suds to go away! any help would be greatly appreciated!

my husband did this a couple of months ago. scoop out whatever you can with cups, towels, etc., hit cancel on your dishwasher to get it to drain. run it empty with a cup of vinegar thrown in it--the vinegar will help cut the suds.

I've done this too, I can't remeber the specific remedy, but it was something I found on the web. I think it involved putting some salt and/or cooking oil into the dishwasher to "kill" the bubbles. Try google-ing "dishwasher bubbles" or something similar. Good luck!

Salt should do the trick. You will need a lot of it.
