Beach wagon that works on soft sand

Anonymous
We have a few beach trips coming up this summer and I want to get a good folding beach wagon but all the ones I am seeing have mixed reviews that say it works on wet sand but not dry/soft sand. It’s a pretty big purchase for us to spend $200 on something so I want to find one that is worth the money. Anybody have one they love?

Eh, all wagons are going to be harder to pull on soft sand. It just is what it is. We got ours from an online sports discount store for $60 and works the same as any I've seen or used for $200

What all are your bringing? We have backpack chairs, I carry the beach bag and DH carries the umbrella (shoulder strap) and cooler. Kids carry toys.

We will be a few blocks from the beach so even though we don’t need much gear, we do need to haul our chunky 40-pound 1yo.

Just get one with wide wheels. You’ll be fine. You aren’t walking miles on the sand, it’s 100 yards (or you can walk along the packed sand near the water if you need more traction for long distance). We bought one from Amazon for <$100 that worked fine.

The one we got was out of stock but this one looks nearly identical Seina Collapsible Steel Frame Folding Utility Garden Wagon Outdoor Cart, Green https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07DQ6QRS8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_H0KZFWXBGYMVXT1MW39C?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Where are you going? This wouldn’t work at beaches say in Rehobeth but when we go to Corolla, the neighborhood we went in has several beach access points, and many people like us wheel our kids, gear to the beach in a wagon, and then leave it at the beach access point. Most places we have rented this is fine.
