| Anyone else having issues with their EZ Pass account? I’ve had an account on auto refill for at least 5 years. Last week I get an email saying my account balance is low and I need to update the payment account. I try logging in and it’s a completely different website now. I tried multiple times using a combination of account number / username / password and could not log in. Got locked out of the account so called customer service and they reset it for me. When I clicked on the link it seems that they want you to go through the whole account set up process again and set up security questions again etc. at the end of that it asked me to enter my freaking transponder number?? I have multiple transponders, but have never needed those in the past when logging in. Huge PITA. |

Yes. The same thing happened to me. It was like being in a time loop, repeating the same process without actually getting access to the account.
It is a huge pain. I spent 40 minutes on hold early in the week and then another 30 or so minutes talking to a representative trying to get signed onto my account. The representative could not get to it work, but promised to refer my case for a call back to address my problem within 3 business days. She did tell me that when they switched to the new website, automatic withdrawals didn't continue, which is why I was getting low balance notifications. She allegedly switched my account to automatic replenishment. Three days went by. Not only did I not get a call back, but I started getting negative balance notifications. Waited on hold for another 30 minutes and then spoke with a rep. This time, I got the replenishment issue fixed, which the first rep. had screwed up. However, I still can't get into the account. The representative promised to escalate my case, but I have heard nothing. The website doesn't work and it ridiculous. Someone posted on Reddit about the same issues. My guess is that there are many more people having the same problems. |
| My husband drove to NE yesterday and I got two refill notices from the trip. Different logo but seemed to work ok. I did go to the new site after receiving an email about the change but don't think I really changed any settings. |
