My daughter is a competitive athlete and is very muscular. However, she still would like to get a feminine, non-matronly bathing suit. All the bikinis I can find seem to have minuscule bottoms, and she has very muscular thighs. And the skimpy tops don't work with her broad shoulders. Does anyone have any suggestions? I tried Athleta, etc. but they are very basic tank suits, and she is hoping for something more stylish.
Try jolyn. All the girls on my DD’s summer swim team wear them
Jcrew has the best balance of style and rear coverage. But honestly, cheeky is IN and no better to embrace than while young
Try Nordstrom.
some of the competition suits are very feminine now and are designed to fit girls with your DD's shape
Summersalt. Not cheap but super cute.

My daughter is the same and loves Jolyn even though they are completely over priced and not the best quality.
REI or Nordstrom to try options. |
Title Nine has cute, athletic bathing suits
Land's End girl's boy short swim bottoms paired with one of the more feminine tankini or tops?
DD bought two tankinis from Amazon. They have boy shorts with cropped tank racer backed tops. They are cute and stylish without being too skimpy. Lots of options there.
Jolyn...they hold up great
Aerie has some cute ones.
Athleta girls
Look at Athleta or Title Nine.
