am I the only person watering my grass

I feel like a nut. Am I the only one watering my grass now? To meet it seems like I need to since we are not going to get any significant rain till June, according to forecast

What in the world are you looking at that tells you the next month of weather? The Farmer's Almanac?

Yes, you don’t need to water your lawn here unless there’s a major (like more than three weeks) drought in high summer or it’s just been seeded.

The only time I watered the lawn was when it was newly seeded. After that it has always fended for itself.

+1 I drag out the hose for my raised beds and potted plants if it's been 4-5 days, but have literally never watered my lawn since moving to DC. Even if there was a serious drought I'd feel wasteful using scarce water on something like that - I'd focus on keeping trees watered over grass.

Please don't waste water on your stupid lawn.

My husband has made it his mission to care for our lawn; so you have at least one person in your boat.

If he’s watering, he sucks at it.

Is it a new lawn? If so, water it. If not, just let it go. It may go dormant, but it will come back in the next rain.
