Has anyone been keeping tabs on the Johnson Principal in cluster nine under instructional superintendent David Pinder? He's apparently awful and is causing major turn over at the school. He was the principal at Sousa Middle School in 2008-2011 when the same exact thing happened. Then he took a job harassing people in PG county but for some reason DCPS decided to hire him back, only G*d knows why.

| I wonder, based on the current vacancy list, how many left because they wanted to or he didn't invite them back. I would also say, it doesn't look like the principal is going to be replaced since there isn't a Principal Panel happening at the school. |
5 people quit earlier in year and folks are rolling out…. Good people are leaving JMS. The kids lose out and go through more loss in a community that already has so much trauma and loss. Equity is a buzz word but no one really wants to provide it. Fact is if this was happening uptown the Chancellor would have let him go. |
It doesn't work like that. He can't just "let people go". Teachers can choose to transfer schools or they can eventually get a lot of bad ratings to be let go from the system, otherwise it's not up to the principal if someone stays or goes. |
This is exactly it! These children deserve stability. Teachers can't work in a place where 90% of their headaches come from administration. Admin is supposed to SUPPORT teachers not treat them like the enemy. |

| David Pinder is well known to be lack luster as an instructional superintendent. Yet he has been around forever. Unfortunately, it is the dynamite people who generally don’t stay very long in DCPS as they always find better opportunities |
