Moving to VA this summer; no way to start AAP in fall?

Based on the testing and selection schedule, it looks like if you are new to FCPS then the earliest you could be admitted to AAP would be for the second semester (starting in January 2022). Is that right?

No, it’s not. Please read this page. Scroll down to the part about summer and if you move into Fairfax County after June 11.

OP. Find a nice house in a safe neighborhood and send your kids to a Private school. I hear that Catholic schools are reasonable (not sure if you need to be a Catholic to get in). FCPS is on its way down.. the tubes.
