Daffodils

My first year with daffodils and I’m getting impatient for them to die back. Has anyone transplanted them to a pot to die back there? They are taking up valuable tiny garden space and I just want some annuals in there instead.

I plant bulbs and forbs very close together. Is there a reason you can't place the annual right next to the daffodils.

You can cut them back now if you want to. It’ll still come back next year.

I tie the tops in a low to the ground knot and trim off any extra then plant next to them.
