Claremont immersion waitlist movement?

Immersion definitely moves more than other waitlists. They've cleared the 100+ person waitlist in past years (maybe not until late summer, but eventually).

The one big thing that is different about this year is that they are going from 6 kindergarten classes down to 4 classes. It means a bigger chunk of those seats are taken up by people who will not turn down a spot, because they have siblings in the school etc.

I think you have a good shot at getting a spot. I had the same waitlist number and we got in the day after everyone had to accept or reject their option school placements. Of course, there were 6 K classes that year.

Another thing to look at is how many available spots there are on the spanish speaker side. If those aren't filled, they may fill them from the english speaking wait list.
