On the boys side, it looks like they go from 6 teams to 3 teams from U12 to U13. Does this mean a lot of cuts for current players and few new players, or do they lose a lot of players during this age group transition?
Does this also happen with the girls? Any feedback on these age groups? |
| At bsc they do cuts and the roster size increases. Outside members also tryout because MLS starts. |
| On boys side they will add as many teams as needed for the number of players who tryout (very few if any cuts at that age). Come August, they also will contract the number of teams and shuffle players if necessary (regardless of what your offer was for) if they can get away with reducing teams in order to pay for one less coach and league. Can’t speak to the girls side. |
| They can just add a new team if there is enough demand. It has happened a lot in the past years. |
Bethesda is hoping that the parents of kids on teams 4-6 realize that they are throwing their money away and should just go play MSI classic. |
LOL! |
No, teams go from 9v9 at U12 to 11v11 at U13. Do the math. |
|
The "math" poster is a joke right. US soccer roster size at U12 is 16. 16 times six is 96.
For U13 or 11v11 it's 22 and if you have three times of 22 its' 66. You're down 30 players. The question is are those mostly kids who have quit or are they getting cut? |
