I would say any kind because the kids will make do with anything as long as it has the token keypad etc. But the Fisher Price on is not nearly as loud as the Costco/Leapfrog (I think that's what it was) that I recieved three years ago.

We have the Early Learning Center one from the UK which is great. I think you can get it here on Amazon, perhaps elsewhere. I've seen some Early Learning Center toys at Sullivans.

What age? There are some for age 1+ and others that are more advanced for age 3+

My fingers got caught in the Fisher Price one. I bought it because I have fond memories of the exact same one from my childhood but it just wasn't the same. The coins kept getting stuck.
