Lime, eggshells or oyster shells as amendment

I was reading that tomatoes in this area are susceptible to blossom end rot. Do you add lime, eggshells, oyster shells or anything else when planting?

Are use both waste oyster shell and bonemeal.
Bonemeal makes the calcium more readily available. Shell takes time to decompose and be useful to the plant.

I add dolomite lime, oyster shell flour and crushed eggshells while planting. I don’t know if the eggshells do anything as they just seem to sit there.

If they do get blossom end rot, you can get a calcium spray that works well and quickly.

LOL!
I’ve been using crushed eggshells too... and they don’t seem to do much!
