Now that the enrollment deadline has passed, when do schools typically start making waitlist offers (if any)?

PreK will start this week.

Charters will start now for all grades as well.

DCPS schools might wait until the summer for grades other than PreK as they try to balance students in-bounds and enrollment.

What form to does a waitlist offer come in? An email from the school? A notification on MySchoolDC?

We got a notification through MySchoolDC (email and text message)

This is how it should work. But you should check in on your WL in your account just to be sure a spam filter or text doesn't get blocked/dropped, etc.
