Title says it all. I have a slim build, 5'5'', bra size 32D. I run about 15 miles per week. I've worn out my beloved Moving Comfort Jubralee bras, which are no longer made, and am looking for a new go-to bra. My requirements:
- great support (hello, D cup) - must hook in back (no racerbacks; I hate wriggling into a bra by pulling it over my head) - must have adjustable straps (I have narrow shoulders and need to tighten most bra straps as short as they will go for good support) Would love some recommendation from other runners. Thanks! |

THIS!!!!
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B08NB1C796/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1&psc=1 It is racerback, which initially turned me off as well, but I step into it and it's much easier than going over the head. Comes in tons of cute colors and runs true to size. AMAZING SUPPORT. I am a 32DDD and wear this for about 15 miles/week and love it. They do wear out in the wash after 9-12 months or so, but they are so cheap I do not care. |
| Not OP but have exact same requirements! The linked one does look supportive but also impossible to put on! How do you step into it? |
|
Title IX used to have a pretty good selection. A Champion one was my favorite but I think it got discontinued. I haven't shopped in a while!

PP here. I will admit when I first got this bra I was super annoyed with putting it on. But it is so supportive (like your chest will NOT move no matter what you do) that I gave it a chance. Once you wear it a couple of times it softens a bit, and I just step into it, pull it up, then fasten the back. |
| OP here. Thanks PP for recommendation. I've never worn an underwire running bra. Does it chafe? |

I have and love this bra: https://us.chantelle.com/sport-high-impact-convertible-bra.html.
Plus it's on sale!

I am your same height and bra size and I love this one: https://www.amazon.com/Under-Armour-Balance-Eclipse-Reflective/dp/B071S8R2Z6/ref=sr_1_5?crid=XZR95CHM8T8X&dchild=1&keywords=eclipse+sports+bra+under+armour&qid=1620160390&sprefix=eclipse+sports%2Caps%2C189&sr=8-5
It's a front zip, but fits your requirement of not needing to be tugged over your head. It has nice lined cups and is pretty structured. NO bounce for me. |
| I miss the Jubralee! I was able to get one on the Brooks website a few months ago, but I see that is no longer the case. Gah. |
| A smallish cup size like 32D doesn’t need anything crazy. Wacoal has a good underwire sports bra. |
| A D is smallish? |
32D isn’t very big, no. |
| I’m the same size and wear Under Armour. |
Perhaps your 32Ds don’t need good support, but mine certainly do. And the OP too, otherwise she wouldn’t be asking for recommendations. |

If you can size up the band and reduce the cup size, this Champion bra comes in 34 C and is super comfy and hits all your specs. And is relatively cheap!
