How long after getting temp tags did it take to get permanent tags recently in DC? (trip planned)

| A DMV rep just told me they've been told to tell people it can take up to 30 business days to receive their permanent tags in DC. That would really mess up a planned trip. If you had to get new tags in DC in the past six months, how long did it take to get them after applying? |
