Club had 5 teams at u10
Covid knocked to 4 Moving to 9v9 will reduce to3 Coach indicates may be only 2 teams when all shakes out Told our player on team 4 will move to team 2 New coaches bringing in some new players to tryouts - just comparable but figure they slot them in We tried out at 2 other clubs and will probably get offer How to evaluate coaches teams clubs ? Like team 4 = playing time v team 2 is crowded |
| Decide what you want and then ask the club for it |

Not supposed to work that way but that’s the way it does often |
Yeah if the other clubs wants you, I would move. The new player brought in always has a spot. Going from four teams to two is a lot of players without a spot. Do you know the coach of the 2nd team? Does the coach really like your player? Will your player start? It’s next to impossible to have conferences if you are not a starter. |
| Did they reduce teams because of lack of players, or did they let all those players go? |
| It’s u10. Go with the club closest to you. |
Dude. Just leave Loudoun already. Their size will be 1/3 smaller this year. And for obvious and good reasons. |
the players brought in by the coach will be the starters and play 100%. that's what he told them |
Patently absurd - my DS age group at LS had so many new kids at tryouts that they could add a new team if they wanted to. |
No coach or club worth their salt would promise you this, because they don't know who else will be trying out. They can say they hope that to be the case. Your child is U10, try out some other places, and take a offer that is convenient and works for you. |
