What happened after your positive beta post-IVF?

Curious what the range of experiences are. How long did you stay with your clinic before graduating to an OBGYN? How long did you continue taking meds? At what cadence did you get blood tests or ultrasounds?

Had an ultrasound at 6w 2d and 8w2d discharged from clinic after 2nd ultrasound. Weaned off meds by 10 weeks.

To add in terms of labs 2 betas and then labs with the ultrasounds.

Stayed on with RE until 10 weeks. Had two ultrasounds during that time and stayed on progesterone. A 10 weeks was told to stop progesterone and go under care of regular obgyn. I think my first appointment with a regular OB was at 16 weeks. Congrats!!

Had ultrasounds at 6w, 7w2d, and 9w6d. Discharged from RE after the last ultrasound. Stopped supportive meds at 10w2d. Started with OB at 10w6d. Congratulations!

For my successful IVF pregnancy: 3 betas, ultrasound at 6w2d, ultrasound at 7w4d, then discharged to the midwifery practice I had chosen. My first visit with them was at 10w to set up NIPT. I was told to discontinue progesterone at 9w.

I walked out of my clinic around 7 weeks because they thought I needed to be waiting around for 4 hours for appointments. I took the meds until 12 weeks then self referred myself to my OB-GYN who delivered my first. I am a bad patient, don't do this. lol I had no prenatal care from 7-12 weeks. Healthy baby though. There is not alot they can do to help you if things are turning south this early.

I had a total of 3 betas, two after the initial test. I also had 2 ultrasounds and was released to OB and MFM at 8 weeks. I don’t remember much about meds.

I only had one sono at 6w, heard heartbeat and then “graduated.” Don’t know if that’s typical or covid influenced since many people seem to have more sonos before graduating. Was told I could stop estrogen shortly after that. Took progesterone suppositories until 12w. Ob is having me keep taking low dose aspirin until third trimester even though re said I could stop at 12w.
