What on earth do I do with the tube of polenta DH bought? What is the best way to cook it, do I even need to cook it?
I recently made a fantastic lamb chop recipe from a recent Real Simple magazine that called for serving it over polenta. I LOVE it but couldn't find it at the store that day so made do with couscous instead. Does the tube have directions on it? You can serve it as is, heat it up or saute it. I love polenta but I love all things like that - cornbread, cornbread stuffing etc. If not it might not be for you. I vastly prefer it to rice or couscous.
The tube doesn't have any directions on it

slice it up, sprinkle it with bits of butter and fresh parmesan and bake it until the cheese melts. So good!
Yes, just slice (not too thin), top with something like a bruschetta topping if you want, or just parmesan and bake. I would say 375 for 15 minutes. You could brush it with olive oil.

Mine does have directions!
Cut into 1/2-inch slices, top with your favorite sauce, and... microwave on high 60-90 seconds or bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes or pan fry on medium with a little oil or butter |
OP here. I baked it with parm cheese and loved it. No one else in the house would eat it. Boo.
