That Reed school doesn't look like it's going to be ready in 6 months. Does anybody know if it's really going to happen. If yes, will it have enough time for covid mitigation stuff to be put in place? |
6 months is a long time. It will probably be like other new schools, where not everything is 100% done but students can go to school. |
It has to be. They’ve already lined up the other dominoes like redrawing boundaries and hiring for the new Innovation school. Probably would have been good to move more kids to north to the emptier buildings, but that was too stressful soo... |
It will get done. The summer before Fleet opened, contractors started working weekends and extended hours on weekdays. Don’t worry. |
+1 6 months is a long time. |
Covid mitigation in APS? hahahahha. Good one! |
You are so wrong. It’s on schedule and they are working every weekend to keep it that way. It will be done on time. |
There are air cleaners in every room and we will likely be masked. -APS teacher |
If it's not, they'll open anyway. Discovery was still under construction for much of the first year it was open. Fun times. |
It will be done enough for kids to be in there. They will make sure of that.
Recess will suck for the entire first year. Easily. No green space. |
Yep. Hope McKinley enjoys being packed in. Got what they wanted. |
