Maryland Rush Montgomery (MRM) has two back-to-back tournament in August/September.
The tournaments are August Cup and Rush For the Cup. Does anyone know the difference between these two tournaments? And why are they doing back-to-back tournaments? |
|
It’s like this every year.
It’s a good chance to get some play time before the season starts and/or high school starts. Both are lower level tournaments |
|
We play against MRM this Saturday at Maryland Sportsplex.
Do we have to have our kids play with a mask on? |
I don't think so. MoCo just changed their mask policy as of today. WTOP has more information. |
Oh lord, please be it true. I literally told my girls today at practice: “Girls, I got bad news. This weekend we gotta play with masks or risk a forfeit” 2 girls started crying. |
That's an easy decision. Take the forfeit. |
I’d love to. But the girls want to win the division. And so do the parents. And lowkey, I do too. I’ll just tell them to make it a chin diaper. Fck the mask and its bra1n dead lawmakers and supporters alike. |
Where can I sign my DD up to join your team @sshat Anarchists FC? |
|
No more masks and two spectators per athlete instead of 1
(As long as soccerplex follows suit which I’m sure they will) |
| CDC just relaxed policy. I am sure lawyerville county will too. Besides, my kid played an entire b-ball season with a mask. She said it was no big deal. |
| Child protective services on line one |
| MoCo has said no masks as long as the temp is above 80, which it won't be this weekend. |
I don’t agree with the MoCo mask policy but really you need to teach your kids to be more resilient. Because this is embarrassing. |
Those two girls fainted after suffocating playing with masks - in mid 70s temps. Which is what we have on the forecast for this weekend. Please come to our practice and explain with your powerpoints that you’ll teach them resilience. I’m looking forward to it. |
The two girls that started crying are the player’s parents, not the player. |
