| Just moved to potomac and am wondering why every family has a keep Cherokee? What so good about that car? Is there something I’m missing? |
| Only high school aged kids. |
You're not missing anything. It's a fashion statement. |
|
What? No I live there and no one on my block has one. No one I know has one.
Try again. |
| In white, correct? |
| Back in the 90s it was a Volvo......... |
| Somewhat nice but still cheap SUV. |
| Because they think they have moved far from the city. They think they are outdoorsy. But want to be seen as wealthy too. |
We must have different definitions of cheap. It’s a $50k car, without all the bells and whistles. |
| Because it's trendy with rich kids and everyone here is a lemming. |
You can get an overland which is almost loaded for under $50k, and yes I consider that cheap. |
| Teenagers, and immature housewives, think it's cool. |
| Potomac people are sheep and buy cars for their teenagers to keep up with the Joneses. |
| You mean a Wrangler? I rarely see Jeep Grand Cherokees, but every single house on my block seems to have a Wrangler |
The new wranglers are great to drive. I rarely see Grand Cherokees anymore. |
