Is that possible, or is it either very bad or nonexistent? Yesterday one of my breasts was really sore from a clogged duct, and midday my back also got really sore and I had chills until i went to bed early. My older kid said the house felt cold but i was the only one shivering. I was able to resolve the clogged duct with a lot of nursing, and today I feel much better, back ache went away with Tylenol this morning and no chills.
Obviously I was a little concerned about covid, but I'm vaccinated and WFH, so it's not the most likely explanation. I'd like to blame it on the boob. Reasonable? |
It’s possible.
Yeah, I had unlocked the duct and the doc gave me 48 hours in case it resolved on its own before starting antibiotics. Mine didn’t, but it is possible.
Maybe? But keep an eye on it bc it can get bad quick.
Yes, it’s very possible. The same thing has happened to me a few times before I actually got mastitis. I’m bf twins and have an oversupply so I’m super careful or things can go wrong really quickly. I’ve had mastitis twice and clogged ducts frequently.
This. Can resolve, especially if you resolve the clog. But it can get bad quick. Bacteria grow very quickly in warm stagnant milk. |
Yes I’ve had this happen many times. It’s miserable!
It happened to me, too. It happened over a weekend. I got a low grade fever late Saturday afternoon, so I couldn't see my OB and I was hesitant to go to the ER due to covid. Sunday I had body aches and low grade fever, I felt miserable. By Monday morning I was feeling fine.
That happened to me twice-just resolved itself with rest and breastfeeding
Totally possible. Stay aware of it thought because I had it go from that to on my butt for four days really fast.
