I have ancient Lulu Lemons (15 years?) that I love. They are thicker and have some stretch but aren’t fitted against my body or very loose and flowy- which seem to be the current options.
They have lost their elasticity finally. I need to replace them but after 2 kids and in my mid 40s I’d really rather not wear the super fitted leggings. I mostly wear them around the house, doing errands, and playing with my kids but also like to occasionally do yoga or hike in them. I don’t even know what such a pant is called these days! “Yoga pants” now all seem to be Lycra-esque leggings. I want something with a bit more of a cotton feel and a bit thicker. Are these joggers? I don’t want a full sweat pant (find those less comfy for hiking / more chaffing). Thanks! |
| Joggers. Look for ones with satiny fabrics. |
| I’ve been eyeing vuori joggers. Anyone know if they’re worth the price? |
I love them. Soft, fit well. I’m 5’8” and got the tall, which I prefer for day to day at home but I do wish they were a bit shorter to wear out with sneakers. I think the regular might be too short. |

These are my current favorite Lulu pants! You can size down for a more fitted (but not skin tight) look or size up for a more casual, slouchy look. You can also pair them with a nicer top and cute shoes for a nicer going out to dinner kind of look. |
I have the regular, love them as well, very comfortable, but at 5’7 the regular are definitely above ankle pants. I want to try the long for my next pair. |
| Op here. Thanks for the recs. I’m 5’3” and curvy. I figured out the old Lulus I loved were the Groove pant. Are the joggers fairly fitted? Fitted works well for me (less chaffing / more comfortable) I’m just trying to get away from the skin-tight that Lulu seems to have transitioned to in recent years. I have some Aligns that are very comfortable but I feel a bit unsure about wearing them to the sandbox, school pick up etc. |

I have the Lands End Starfish pants as a PP mentioned, I think they might fit the bill. They look decently put together but I also sleep in them sometimes, lol.
I am also interested in the Vuori joggers but they just seem so expensive, not sure I can justify that prices for what essentially are sweatpants. |
| I love the Align joggers, Ready to Rulu's and Keep Moving Pants from Lululemon. The vuori joggers look SO cute on other's (I see them on mom's every day at pickup) but looked horrendous on me. I'm thin with a booty. |
| Vuori joggers are amazing. |

Ok, I know Lilly Pulitzer isn’t everyone’s style (and if you hate it- fine, I don’t care), but these are great comfy but not leggings pants:

I don’t have these (about to order now though) but I was going to say the zella live in leggings. they are thick, cotton, and not clingy or loose. |
