Mantua ES

I've asked before and gotten no response, but the recent spate of threads on Annandale area schools gives me renewed hope LOL!

Anyone with an older child at Mantua? Especially one in the GT Center? I'm looking for feedback on teachers at the 4, 5 and 6 grade level.

I am bumping this out of self-interest. We are relocating to Mantua next month (yay!) and am just curious about actual experience at Mantua ES...especially how the Basic School principles work out in practice - I had never heard of that curriculum but it sounds interesting. Is there a real difference between Mantua and other area schools in terms of actual curriculum or is it just a set of principles that gets weaved into an otherwise regular curriculum?
