What happened to NVSC?

Not that they have ever been too amazing, but they have a solid amount of regional odp players but can’t seem to win any game at all in CCL 1. Also I hear kids are leaving left and right. They are a mess! Has anyone heard about this? My DS wants to tryout for them, but after doing my hw.....I wonder if I should steer him in a better direction?

They have better coaches than competition and they develop good talented players starting young (lots of U littles). The problem is players move to VSA because of the crap propaganda of going to VDA. Why do NVSC players go to VSA and not PWSI? 🤔

Not sure why people think they need to go to VSA/PWSI in order to get on a VDA team. Plenty of NVSC players go directly to VDA.

What age? They couldn't even field a U13 team this year.

Why wasn’t NVSC part of the VDA deal? It looks like a good amount of now VDA players came originally from NVSC some to VSA for some reason but really developed by NVSC coaches.

Their u14 team! Apparently they forfeited games and lost some by as bad as 9-0

They have had some good teams and kids over the years on the boys side. We have seen their U12s. Solid and they generally try to play the right way. The coaching and kids looked good.

So they couldn’t field the 08 team, PWSI is struggling but VSA has +2 teams.

As the mother of a son and daughter who both play for VDA now, I can tell you that the pathway to play for VDA is probably the number 1 reason people go to VSA and PWSI. Think about it, if your son or daughter is the star player at a club, the coach isn’t going to want to send them to play for a higher level team. They will want them to stay. But with the VSA and PWSI pathway, all players are working their way up the system.

Also, VSA and PWSI have better facilities in imo. Lastly, NVSC’s social media and communication tools are pretty outdated. Young parents and kids are swayed by how a club’s social media presence is. Not saying it should be that way, but it’s true.

NVSC had an 08 team, but they left due to a coach several years ago.

Im being super picky but I wish the sidewalk that surrounds Ali Krieger's fields went around it closer like at Long Park so when watching games in the rain its not a muck fest lol.

I thought a lot of their success on the girls side was tied to the mother daughter combo of MS and NS and then I heard that NS might be moving over to PWSI.
