I just booked a hair appointment at red door spa and read online that they want people to change into robes. That isnt for the hair treatments right? I dont want to change into a robe just to get some highlights. Ive never been there and just received a gift card so I thought Id try them out. Hopefully they are good at highlights.
Anyone have any experiences they can share? |

I've had a haircut at a Red Door Spa. They should never force you to wear a robe. They'll probably do the usual routine and take you back to the locker room/restroom and show you the robes and stuff. But you don't have to put one on. However, you might consider taking off your shirt and wearing the robe - just to protect your shirt from the chemicals (and from getting wet). You can always keep your pants on - and I would if I was just getting hair done.
My usual salon (not Red Door) has short, lightweight robes for people to put on to protect their clothes. Some women take off their shirts but I usually leave mine on unless I have a collar'ed shirt or getting color done. Highlights typically aren't very messy though, IME. |
