| Please recommend your swimsuit stores! My DD is about 5'4" and maybe 90 pounds. I canot find bathing suits that are appropriate and fit. She is especailly interested in one peices. Clothing recommendations welcome too! |

She may need to look at suits for competitive swimmers which are meant to fit tighter but I don't know about best brands or types for her proportions.
While first choice is a one piece, a two piece with a tank-style top may be her best best, and I often do well buying separates from Old Navy. |

I thought that Dicks had a great selection of swimsuits on-line that were not too revealing for my 13 YO.
My daughter was specifically looking for a bikini |
| Similar stats for my DD - I got her a basic tank suit from Lands End in a gorgeous midnight blue color in size 0, Tall. |
| Athleta and Title IX each had really small sizes that we have used. If she decides she wants two piece, we usually end up with something like a boy shorts bottom and a top that is cut like a halter top (so not low cut and won’t hang off). And then a sport rash guard to wear over it for things like kayaking. |
This would be my suggestion. And yes, you'll need to try a variety of brands to see what works best for your DD. Speedo, Nike, Arena, Tyr, Dolfin Uglies, Jolyn...all brands that my 5'6" 14yo competitive swimmer has tried. Speedo and Nike work best for her, but her teammates practice in all of those brands. If you're anywhere near Arlington, Sport Fair is a great place to be able to try a variety of suits. |
| Land's End has tall sizes that work well for me. I get a tall tankini top and a regular bottom. They hold up well and last forever. |
| I'll second Sport Fair. My daughter is tall and very thin and a competitive swimmer. We've always had luck there for practice suits. |
| DD is 5'8 and 95 lbs. Nothing fits so she wears shorts and a tank tops. Otherwise two piece bottoms fall off her and one pieces look droopy or are not cut right. She's shaped like a #2 pencil. |
Oh my, that’s kind of scary! Hope she’s okay |
| DD is 13. 5'8 and about 100 pounds. She prefers tankinis, but has no problem finding a good fit in a variety of styles at Lands End. Your daughter is shorter so she may find something in the children's section. I think it goes up to 16. |
| My DD is also 5’4” and 90 lbs. I know you’re looking for a one piece but Lands End does have good tankini and boy short sets in kids sizes that fit my DD well. |
| Thanks, all. She did not like the styles at Lands End but did like the swimshops mentioned above so we will try a few of those! |
| We get the bottoms from Lands End (DD likes the boy shorts and they fit well and last well) and a tankini top that she likes from somewhere else. |

My daughter has the same proportions & I was going to suggest the surfer/skate boarding brands. I find they tend to run smaller. You can find them in stores but here is a link to Roxy one pieces. Some are too "sexy" for my liking ( my kid is not even 13 yet) but you can find some regular suits where their boobs/butt cheeks aren't hanging out.
