Springfield Family Doctor arrested for rape and marital sodomy

Anonymous
This doctor, Dr. Drew Steiner, held a private family practice, lived in Springfield and worked at Fort Belvoir. He’s been arrested for raping two separate women and sodomizing his own wife after those charges.

He looks like a monster. Now tell me about his childhood.

Apparently he graduated from Georgetown Medical School.

Nothing good comes out of Georgetown. Absolutely nothing. Only vileness.

I’m pretty sure sodomy isn’t a crime in VA anymore. They’ll have to find something else to charge him with, because the LGBTQNB+ community got “sodomy” off the books years ago. It was used as a catch-all charge for tossing at people they didn’t like who were otherwise not doing anything wrong.

Agree. It used to be one of the best. Now it’s a cesspool.

Rape would work. If it's nonconsensual, doesn't matter if they were married.

I wish that were true. In about eight states, spousal rape cannot be prosecuted unless it meets certain standards -- usually the use of a weapon or force.

This is the case in Maryland, where spousal rape is against the law only if force or a threat of force is used.

In Maryland, as in some other states, there is an exemption for if the victim is incapacitated. Sounds crazy but it's true.

OMG. I apologize. I really thought we were past that.

Thank you for correcting me gently.

NP.

I am former reporter who used to cover the Maryland legislature and every year Dems would try to introduce a bill to close the spousal rape loophole, and every year it would get shot down by Eastern and Southern Shore Republicans.

I’m a Georgetown Law grad who dedicated her entire fertile life to public service, putting among other criminals numerous child rapists in prison. I have two close female friends from law school who did the same, foregoing motherhood to make the world a better place for other people’s children. I know dozens of incredible public servants who are products of the Jesuit educational ethic at Georgetown and have made very significant contributions to the civil rights movement in this country over the course of their careers.

Paul Butler teaches at Georgetown Law, for Pete’s sake!

I have no doubt there are many quality people at the medical school and in the other areas of academic study at Georgetown, and many decent hardworking graduates too.

Your logic doesn’t even add up, given that you’re asserting it used to be good but now it’s a cesspool, yet it’s clear from the looks of this guy he graduated from Georgetown many years ago - when you claim it used to be good.

I think I smell the insecurity of somebodies who didn’t get accepted or whose children didn’t get accepted.

Can we pick your brain a little? How can rape crimes be reduced?

How many people who couldn’t afford bail did you railroad into plea deals?
