Our neighborhood received multiple reports that several vehicles were broken into and rifled through

We are now religious about locking our cars. We used to not really care.

Same thing has been happening in my neighborhood (Kentlands in Gaithersburg). These are really crimes of opportunity, so people need to make sure to keep their cars locked.
